Check out this behind-the-scenes video of a Malcolm session at Moon Lab!
The Lambkini team did a great job of showing what goes into a full-band, live tracking session, and we're excited to be a part of their "Behind the Glass" series.

A welcome addition today to the Moon Lab vintage collection... our '69 Wurlitzer 200.
She growls and barks and bites. All in the best way possible.
We're very pleased to announce the latest release from Greenpoint's own Alex Kahn:
The EP was produced and recorded right here at the Lab in 2011!
"Communication's a faulty vocation, so find a new one before it's too late." There's some really well-crafted stuff here, and it's free! Enjoy!
BETA, the debut EP from New York City's Brian Parker, was released today.

BETA is all about BIG. You can tell by the caps lock. That was no mistake. It's BIG, BOLD, and BAD. As in BADASS. And it's shiny. But not too polished, because it's also very dirty.
Alright, it's a little hard to describe, but you're in luck...
Because it's FREE! And it's right here!
Brian recorded BETA at Moon Lab in mid-2011, and we couldn't be more excited! If you're in the NYC area, you can also see Brian Parker at Dominion Theater tonight, Dec. 19, 2011.

Meet Universe. Here he is, along with two featured vocalists, Yoshi and Starr:

We spent yesterday working on his upcoming 13-track album on Sound House Records. And, with the recording finished and the album partially mixed in a one-day session, he's probably the fastest-working artist we've had at the studio.
There's some hard spitting and smooth singing going down on this record; updates on the release to come.
